2016. The year my bro got married. My jasmine peaked (it felt like coming into a hobbit house to enter my front door). I did my first and only mlm. We started pizza nights and the grassroots movement of Sola was underway. My kiddos were still chubby-cheeked and I was fully in “the good old days”.

A lot has changed in this decade, a lot. I love my family, I love this life 🫶🏻

15 years. It was a blink. Only three more birthdays until you’re officially on your way to the next big chapter. You’re a rock in this family and I can’t imagine our lives without you. Going back through all my post and memories everything I’ve said about you each year since you were born has been the same: You’re a gift. A gift we did not know we needed, but each of us is so enormously blessed to have you in this family Elisha. The kind of brother you are , the kind of son you are , and the kind of friend you are. Your heart desires God. You’re disciplined in your pursuit of him. Whatever you do, you work at it with all your heart as unto the Lord. So thankful to be your mother and honored to have the privilege of raising you and having witness to this life of yours.

Had the pleasure of capturing the sweetest moment for a gift ! My friend Carrie commissioned me to do this portrait a couple weeks before Father’s Day and I loved every moment of drawing this for her.

Working on intricate things like glass reflection and curls are just the sort of highly detailed work that is my favorite!
