The Freedom Fund Banquet is one of the NAACP's signature annual events, bringing the community together to celebrate achievements, honor leaders, and support the ongoing work of advancing justice, opportunity, and equality. We also congratulate the Tyler Branch NAACP on this year's banquet and thank them for their continued service to our community.

What A Successful Time for All Who Attended NLCC’s 1st Prayer Bible School!
From the youngest to the oldest, campers on the 2-Day Adventure in Prayer, enjoyed getting their passports and gaining access to exciting adventures! The highlights will be remembered for a long time!

Youth, teens, and adults learned about Author, Mark Batterson’s ‘draw the circle’ and ‘circling prayers’ to focus on continuous prayer. Using the old fashioned chalk to draw circles around specific prayers was not only interactive but a different experience to focus prayer targets.

While adults took deep dives into a pool searching for scriptures, in other classrooms, teens made prayer coasters and went on prayer walks. Youth learned songs in addition to making prayer fans and other crafts.

NLCC began a 40-Day Prayer Challenge on July 23rd, Day 1 of our PBS! To survive challenging times, we must teach the power of prayer to our families, beginning with the children. Our leading Scripture: 2nd Chronicles 7:14

Your marriage is a beautiful testimony of God's faithfulness, love, and grace. Through every season, you have led with integrity, served with compassion, and modeled what it means to honor God, love one another, and faithfully serve His people.

Thank you for your commitment to one another, to our church family, and to the Kingdom of God. Your lives and leadership continue to inspire us, and we are grateful for the countless ways you have poured into this ministry and our community.

What a joyful afternoon we shared at our July Wisdom Walkers gathering at New Life Community Church!

From the moment everyone arrived, the room was filled with warm conversations, laughter, learning, and fellowship. Friends encouraged one another, new connections were made, and we were reminded that we're stronger when we walk life's journey together.

We were honored to welcome our guest speaker, Deacon Col. (Ret.) Junior Tilley, who shared an informative and practical presentation on Investments, Wills & Trusts. His wisdom encouraged us to prepare well for the future and to have important conversations with our loved ones.

Congratulations to Sister Jackie Logan, the winner of our DocuKeeper raffle prize! We hope it serves as a valuable tool for organizing and protecting your important documents.❤️

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the opportunity to give back. Through the generosity of the Wisdom Walkers Ministry, we were blessed to donate 13 $10 gift cards to support our church's Prayer Bible School. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

A special thank you to our faithful ministry leaders, Sister Joice Arthur and Sister Katherine Tilley, for your vision, leadership, and dedication to creating a welcoming space where seniors can learn, laugh, grow, and build lasting friendships.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended. Your smiles, conversations, and fellowship are what make Wisdom Walkers such a special ministry. Every gathering reminds us that no one has to walk alone.
