At our June meeting, Cheryl amazed us with this stunning bargello quilt that showcased her incredible talent and attention to detail. When she stands in front of it, we see that she has the wings to show what an angel she really is - her kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm shining through. It's moments like these that remind us of the impact one person can have on a community, and we feel so grateful to have Cheryl as a part of ours.

Each year the Christian Quilt Guild raffles a hand-made quilt to help with the costs of the more than 200 quilts we gift. This year, the raffle quilt was made by the sister of one of our members. It was a beautifully sculpted quilt with hand sewn appliques. When Channing had Neta pull the winning ticket, we were delighted that the winner was Robyn, a member of our own guild.
The Christian Quilt Guild Newsletter May 2026 has been sent to the members of the guild. If you did not receive your Newsletter, check your spam folder. If you didn't receive your newsletter, contact Anne Stone.

Veronica came to us about six months ago, embarking on a quilting odyssey with Dana's 'New Bees' group, starting from the ground up. Today, she's triumphantly unveiling a sweet quilt to commemorate her son Jordan's extraordinary accomplishments - high school graduation and an associate degree! This is her second quilt, which she kept very secret. The sheer joy on Jordan's face, surrounded by her beaming mother-in-law, left, and her mother, right, is a powerful testament to the life-changing bliss of handmade love. 💕

The Tyler Christian Quilt Guild was absolutely thrilled to host the incredibly talented Laura Strickland of Orange Blossom Quilt Design Studio from East Moline, Illinois at our last meeting! We were all so inspired as she shared her fascinating journey into the world of quilt design, from her humble beginnings to her current success. She took us on a step-by-step tour of her creative process, culminating with her exciting collaborations with Lori Holt and Riley Blake designs to create the most beautiful and unique fabrics. These are just a few of her award-winning design challenges that left us all in awe - her attention to detail, her use of color, and her ability to bring a quilt to life are truly remarkable. We were all so grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and can't wait to see what she comes up with next! 🎨🧵
Hey friends, Jerriann here! Someone at the guild meeting asked me about fl**ge binding on one of the quilts Laura Lindsay Strickland shared.
So... look what I found. A quick reel to explain the process!
Enjoy!
