🐶 Is Your Dog Overheating?
Texas summers can be tough on our furry friends. Watch for:
☀️ Excessive panting
☀️ Drooling
☀️ Lethargy
☀️ Bright red gums
If your pet shows these signs, move them to a cool area and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Mondays hit a little different when you’ve got paws in your life. 🐾✨
Start your Monday like a dog greeting you at the door—tail wagging and full of joy. 🐾💛
At Noonday Veterinary Center, we see that kind of happiness every day, and it’s a great reminder to slow down, love big, and find joy in the little things (like treats, belly rubs, and good naps).
Wishing all our pet parents and their furry friends a happy, healthy week ahead! 🐶🐱

Did you know that indoor pets still need annual exams and vaccinations? 🐾
It’s a common belief that pets who stay indoors are fully protected—but that’s not always the case. Parasites and diseases can still make their way into your home on shoes, clothing, or even other pets.
Dogs, even if mostly indoors, still go outside to potty and can be exposed to illness from wildlife, contaminated ground, or even by eating something they shouldn’t. Heartworms, for example, are transmitted by mosquitoes—so indoor dogs are still at risk. 🦟
Cats may be indoor-only, but accidents happen. If a cat slips outside and gets lost, being up-to-date on vaccines and having a microchip greatly increases the chances of them being returned home safely—and healthy. 🐱
Annual exams allow us to catch potential health concerns early and keep your pet protected year-round.
Preventative care is one of the best ways to ensure your fur-baby lives a long, happy life. ❤️
If you have questions about your pet’s vaccines or preventative care, we’re always here to help!

Senior pets hold such a special place in our hearts. 🐾❤️ As our furry companions age, their needs change—and preventative care becomes more important than ever.
At Noonday Veterinary Center, our team truly has a special place in their hearts for senior pets. We love helping them stay comfortable, healthy, and happy through every stage of life.
Routine bloodwork every 6 months is so important for elderly pets. It allows us to catch potential health issues early—often before you even notice symptoms—so we can keep your pet feeling their best.
Dental care is just as critical. As pets get older, dental disease becomes more common, and bad teeth can lead to pain and even a decreased appetite. Regular cleanings can greatly improve their comfort and overall quality of life. 🦷
Preventative care is one of the best ways to help your senior pet live a longer, healthier life. If you have an older pet, we’re here for you and your furry family member every step of the way. 🐶🐱
