“Roxanne, Roxanne, all she wanna do is party all night”! Maybe not all night, but you get the picture. Roxanne is an absolute sweetheart who would make a great family dog for someone with no tiny children, because she can get the zoomies on occasion. She can be quirky with some things she’s not completely cool with, like the vet. She does NOT like the vet. Sometimes, she can be skittish when it comes to clipping on a leash on a collar. A harness would be a better option. She needs someone who can love her for her outgoing personality and occasional quirks as they come. She loves playing tug of war, fetch, and going on long walks. She does pretty good on the leash and can appreciate some down time in her kennel. She loves everyone including cats, but should probably only go somewhere where a cat can tell her what’s what, otherwise she likes to play a bit rough on occasion. She wants somewhere with a fenced yard and maybe a doggie friend too, but that’s not a requirement by any means as she loves attention. She’s housetrained and will tell you when she wants to go outside. She loves car rides and is an absolute Diva Dog! Doesn’t she sound like the best? Just wait until you meet her! Just got a call Roxanne has cut her foot badly and won’t let her foster mom close to check it out. She’ll need to be rushed to the vet first thing in the morning. Please donate if you can help! Our funding has almost stopped so we could really use any help we can get. I’m (Hailey) headed there now to get a look at it.

UPDATE: Denver and I checked it out and determined it’s not bad enough for a vet visit after all, WHEW! Paw injuries tend to bleed badly and if you know Roxanne you know she’s a drama queen. We left her foster mom with a bottle of Vetericyn. Thank you so much Teresa Burk for your donation; it went to a muzzle we needed to take a look at the spot and gas money to drive to Tenaha 💞
