It truly breaks my heart to have to write this post…

Unfortunately over the last few months of lashing I have developed a severe allergy from the main components used in lash glue, causing me to leave work unable to breath and other respiratory issues.

I have exhausted all options, but to make sure I don’t have another attack and keep myself healthy, I am faced with this very sad decision. The Lashery is officially…closed.

I want to thank everyone that showed me support along the way. Whether it was booking appointments, liking my posts or sharing kind words. This was a dream of mine, and although it didn’t last long, I’m proud to say that I did it and kicked ass at it.🤍

Wet sets are a great option for anyone, but also for the girlies who don’t have a crazy amount of natural lashes. This wet set added a darker lash line and more lashes, while still giving a natural look😚

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬?

You only need to wash them once! Go with the grain of the lashes with a soft bristle brush and lash shampoo. Then dry and brush them out.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞:
One lash bestie noticed that her retention got better after making one simple change. In the morning and at night she would wash her face using oily free products (which is good, we want to avoid anything with oil), but she was also wetting her lashes and on top of that, cleaning them. Her lashes would get wet 3 times a day, not including when she took a shower. Her switch? Instead of getting her lashes wet when washing her face, she avoided her eyes and only got them wet when she did her daily lash bath.

All these things contribute to a smooth and enjoyable service

⏰Arrive on time or 5 minutes before

📲Silence your phone, nothing is more stressful then trying to relax with your eyes closed and you can hear you phone go off

👚Wear comfortable clothes, if you can! It helps you get relaxed and in that self care mood

☕️Avoid caffeine, it will make your eyes flutter and twitch

💄Makeup free face is the best way to show up to a appointment. Makeup on the lashes requires more lash baths (natural lashes cannot be dirty or have any makeup on them is this will affect the retention) which means more time we spend on cleaning your natural lashes then getting to work on making them long, curly and beautiful!

🚽Use the restroom before you arrive, if you have to go to the bathroom during service let me know! Using the bathroom before you come will limit the amount of times needed to get up

Fill prices aren’t only based off how long you’ve gotten your lashes done, but how many you have remaining.

The less lashes the more time and product it is to fill. A good way to know if you need a full set is if you can count how many lashes you have on when looking in the mirror😊
