This mannequin will be integrated into our taser training, allowing officers to practice taser deployments on a diverse range of clothing types and materials. We truly appreciate Morning Lavender’s support in keeping our training realistic and our community safe.

The Tustin Police Foundation has recently invested approximately $30,000 in critical first aid equipment to directly support our officers in their role as first responders. This investment strengthens their ability to deliver immediate medical assistance in life-threatening situations, where seconds can determine outcomes.
This equipment ensures officers are better equipped to stabilize injuries, control critical bleeding, and provide essential pre-hospital care while awaiting paramedics. In high-risk or time-sensitive incidents, that initial intervention can significantly improve survival rates and long-term recovery outcomes.
At its core, this initiative is about enhancing public safety through preparedness—ensuring those who protect our community also have the tools needed to preserve life when it matters most.

A huge thank you to Providence Health Care for providing comprehensive on-site health screenings for the dedicated men and women of the Tustin Police Department last week at the PD.
The convenience of having these screenings brought directly to the department allowed staff to quickly and easily prioritize their health while continuing to serve our community. Screenings included heart analysis, skin cancer screening, heart circulation evaluation, blood pressure checks, and hernia screenings.
We appreciate Providence’s commitment to supporting first responders and helping keep our officers and professional staff healthy and mission ready. Thank you for investing in the wellness of those who protect and serve Tustin every day.
