"Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Here at Calvary Learning Center, we believe each child is a unique gift of God. We strive to provide an environment that is safe, loving, and rich in opportunities for each individual child. Our approach involves the whole child and recognizes the uniqueness of each child and their needs. We are committed to providing a Christ-centered educational environment where each child can grow emotionally, physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

Meet Ms. Madelyn! 💛

"Hi! My name is Madelyn Fleming and I run the marketing for all of our programs, and am a teacher at Site 1!

I have lived in the Shoals area for most of my life, and actually attended our summer camp and after school programs when I was a child. I never would have imagined I would be working here nearly 10 years later!

I graduated from Deshler High School in 2022, and am now a student at UNA working towards my degree in Digital Marketing. If you can't find me at Calvary, UNA, or my other job, I'm either missing, or on my couch with my kitties!

If this job has taught me anything, its that children have such a special way of bringing out the best parts of you. I truly look forward to seeing these kiddos everyday and the impact they have had on me is immeasurable!"

Still thinking about all the fun we had during Dr. Seuss week! 📚☺️

Green eggs & ham, crafts, and all the wacky outfits made a fun week for us and our kiddos!

I am 21 years old and graduated from Sheffield High School in 2023. I am currently in college pursuing a degree in Radiology. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!

Meet Ms. Courtney! 🤎

"My name is Courtney Hines, and I am a toddler teacher at Site 2! I have been a part of the Calvary Learning Center family for four years, and it has truly been a blessing to me and my family.

I was born and raised in Tuscumbia. My fiancé and I have four wonderful children together, ranging in age from 6 to 10. Being a mom myself helps me understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the people caring for their children.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, and cheering on our kids at their sporting events. In the classroom, my goal each day is to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where little ones can learn and grow.

I love being part of each child’s learning journey and helping them feel happy and supported every day!"
