π There are a lot of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Colbert County this year, and this one is a little extra special.
America is celebrating its 250th birthday, and communities across the country are joining in the celebration, including right here at home.
Whether you're headed to Leighton for fireworks, Cherokee for a night on Main Street, or the Old Railroad Bridge for one of the best views around, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and celebrate with family and friends.
We rounded up a few of the local America250 events. Take a look and let us know where you'll be celebrating! β€οΈπ€π

New accessibility features at the Helen Keller Birthplace, including Braille brochures, a wheelchair available on-site, and five pairs of Ray-Ban smart glasses, will help more visitors experience the place where Helen's remarkable story began.
