Plett Family Optometry is a growing optometry practice seeking a caring, professional, and reliable individual motivated to learn. Optical knowledge not required. An ideal candidate is someone looking for a long term position as part of our office TEAM/FAMILY.

We are glad to train an enthusiastic, fast learner, who will put customer service first in our fast-paced optometry clinic. We maintain great clinic hours of Monday and Friday 700AM-230PM and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 730AM-430PM, allowing for great work life balance.

Qualifications
-Strong knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software
-Willingness to cross train and learn new tasks
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Must be professional, positive, detail oriented, punctual, and a self-motivated team player.

-Bilingual Spanish is a plus!

Duties
-Optometric assistant: preparing patient charts, reviewing medical history, and entrance testing to prepare patients for exams.
-Front Desk Duties-answering phones, checking in/out patients, and scheduling
-Medical and vision insurance processing (Knowledge of VSP a plus)
-Contact lens training
-Eventual training in optical duties/eyewear ordering as we cross train

Part Time (Tuesday-Friday) or Full Time (Monday-Friday) scheduling will be considered.
