Our goal is to help every enrolled Promise Scholar graduate college and become well-informed citizens who are empowered to compete in a global society.
We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive program based on the philosophy that education creates choices and opportunities for former foster and homeless youth. The Promise Scholars Program is a component of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and has partnered with various on campus services to provide a holistic approach to meeting the needs of foster youth in higher education. Defy Impossible Awareness Campaign
Through FosterNations partnership with Kate Somerville and to help raise awareness of National Foster Care Month, FosterNation invited former foster youth to create a piece of art that symbolized transformation & hope during difficult times. A percentage of the proceeds from this product will go towards Foster Nation's work.
Kate personally selected the winning design, created by college student Laura Bush. Laura partnered with the design team to create this limited edition ExfoliKate™ Intensive packaging
