Psalm 88

O Lord, God of my salvation,
I cry out day and night before you.
2 Let my prayer come before you;
incline your ear to my cry!

David is crying out to God in the midst of his pain, he tells God what is going on, this isn't for God's sake but for David as he pours his heart and pain at the feet of God.

This Saturday, there will be a Prayer Walk from 9am-12 pm at Monte Vista Chapel. Please come and cry out to God to revive us in the midst of our circumstances. That we would know God in his power and might in the middle of our struggle. It is not about God changing our circumstances, but God moving in us to see His power in the midst of our circumstances.

Now, more than ever, we need to claim the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and PRAY for God to heal our land.

PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER...

Father, you promise that if your people will "HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY" that you will heal their land. Right now, we humbly come before you and ask for that healing. We NEED you, our community NEEDS you and our country NEEDS you!

The enemy seeks to destroy this country. He has brought division, hatred, anger, violence, chaos, confusion, fear and pain. He has been working overtime and we pray, right now, that you would bind him up, shut his mouth, tie his hands, sever his power against your children and our country. Bind and cut off hatred and replace it with your LOVE, division with your UNITY, anger with your GRACE, violence with your PEACE, chaos with your ORDER, confusion with your WISDOM, fear with your JOY and pain with your HEALING.

We pray that EVERYTHING we say and do would be guided by the truth of your Word and tempered by the Love of Jesus.

We thank you for the brave men and women that are on the front lines of this crisis: healthcare workers, law enforcement, first responders and the military. They put their lives on the line every day to heal, care for and protect us. We appreciate them and their sacrifice and pray for their PROTECTION, STRENGTH and SAFETY.

Strengthen and guide those who do your work in our city, our state and the national government. Give them Godly WISDOM and help them to act and react as you direct. Breakdown any barriers that will keep them from receiving righteous counsel and making righteous decisions that are truly in the best interest of the people.

Lord, we also ask that you would expose the lies of the enemy that may be controlling or manipulating our social media, news media and government officials. Expose, remove and nullify all the evil ploys of the enemy that are trying to undermine our freedoms and harm this great country that was founded on the principle that we are "One Nation Under God”.

We pray for the businesses, churches, families and schools in our community. Give them WISDOM as they deal with the changing requirements and uncertainties. PROVIDE for them, STRENGTHEN them, COMFORT them and give them HOPE. Lord please protect those individuals that are in harm’s way in abusive homes or relationships. Provide for each one that feels isolated, hurt, helpless, and alone. Come beside them Lord and be with them in the darkness of abuse. Bring your guiding light of hope, freedom and security into these situations. Break the cycle of abuse and restore relationships through and with YOUR LOVE.

And finally Father, please help us to love one another as YOU FIRST LOVED US. Help us to be your image bearers and be a reflection of your goodness, compassion, strength and love to all those we interact with each and every day. May we lead those who don’t know you into the arms of Jesus, as you call us to do through our words, deeds and actions. We pray against ALL forms of racism, division, abuse, greed, pride and hatred. As descendants of Adam, we are ALL part of the same family; we are ALL brothers and sisters; we are ALL your children.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HEAL OUR LAND!

We ask you for all these things in the STRONG and POWERFUL Name of Jesus,

We are living in difficult times and need of prayer now more than ever!

With guidance from the State and National health organizations, we felt it was most prudent this year to transition from a large traditional breakfast event to an at-home, do-it-yourself community-wide prayer event.

We want to COVER OUR COMMUNITY with prayer for a solid 24 hours. Please send us an email and let us know which 1/2 hour time slot you would like to take.

Please pray for each of these items:

Pray for medical professionals, hospital employees, care homes, rehab facilities

Pray for the sick: those in the hospital, care homes, everyone at risk

Pray for military and first responders: fire, police, EMTs

Pray for educators, students and all in the school system

Pray for farmers and anyone involved in agriculture

Pray for families: grandparents, parents, children

Pray for ministers, priests, missionaries, and all those serving in the community of faith

Pray for political leaders and anyone serving in an elected position
(city, county, state, nation, world)

Pray for charities and organizations that provide the “safety net” in our community
(The Salvation Army, Turlock Gospel Mission, United Samaritans, etc.)

Pray for business owners, employees
