The Stanislaus Latino Roundtable and NAACP would like to start 2025 with hope, collaboration, and unity! They're thrilled to invite you to the United We Stand Mixer 2025, a no-cost event to celebrate and connect with community, and leave inspired to make a difference in Stanislaus County.

West Modesto Community Collaborative is offering a financial literacy workshop that theyve partnered with CHASE Bank to provide. The workshop will cover essential topics like student loans, budgeting, and home-buying readiness, making it ideal for students or anyone looking to strengthen their financial knowledge and prepare for future goals.
When: January 16th(virtual) and February 19th(Hybrid), 5:00-6:00PM

Volunteer opportunity!!! Help out in the local community!
The Society Bike Camp is just around the corner and we are SHORT ON VOLUNTEERS!
If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering for our bike camp on July 25-29, please give us a call at (209) 524-3536 or email [email protected].
Volunteers are needed for the duration of the camp on Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 12:15PM. Volunteers will help set up and clean up, run alongside participants, teach skills needed to learn how to ride a bike, and motivate and encourage participants. We also ask that volunteers be able to jog for 15 minutes at a time.
Come volunteer with us and teach someone how to ride a bike!

✨Meet the Science in Our Community Program Coordinator and VISTA Supervisor, Sunpreet Kaur!✨
Sunpreet has been with the Science in Our Community Program for almost 5 years. Sunpreet has been a VISTA supervisor for the past 2 years where she supports and guides new VISTAs to coordinate STEM activities for K-12 students with the help of the STEM Ambassadors. She started her journey with the program as a STEM Ambassador herself!
We are grateful and appreciative to have Sunpreet, thank you for all of your hard work! ❤️💛

Keep a lookout for more interesting activities coming soon! Mark the date for April 25, 2022, through April 29, 2022, we will be sharing student, staff, and faculty STEM-related videos. More information will be provided to school sites regarding live Science Week activities via Zoom. 🙌🏼
