With 84 percent of CSU alumni remaining in California and one in 10 employees in the state holding a CSU degree, the university ensures its graduates are prepared to enter and strengthen the industry.

Physician shortage: New program trains nurse practitioners to meet the need in Stanislaus, Merced counties California State University, Stanislaus, has launched a family nurse practitioner program to address the shortage of primary care doctors in the San Joaquin Valley.
