Student, please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled promotion time.
Please wear your best school clothes (district dress code will be enforced).
No leis, only earned school cords during the ceremony.
No balloons, noisemakers, signs, or anything that may disrupt the view or ceremony.
Guests, please arrive early, as doors will lock when the ceremony begins.

Last Thursday, TJHS celebrated students during our Awards Night, recognizing academic excellence, growth, progress, leadership, and character. It is always meaningful to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of our students alongside their families and staff. Congratulations to all of our award recipients.

El jueves pasado, TJHS celebró a nuestros estudiantes durante nuestra Noche de Premios, reconociendo la excelencia académica, el crecimiento, el progreso, el liderazgo y el carácter. Siempre es especial celebrar los logros y el esfuerzo de nuestros estudiantes junto con sus familias y el personal escolar. Felicidades a todos nuestros estudiantes reconocidos.

Parte de las ganancias ayudará a apoyar nuestro nuevo programa de liderazgo estudiantil WEB (Where Everybody Belongs), enfocado en desarrollar líderes estudiantiles, apoyar la transición de estudiantes de 7º grado a la secundaria y fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia escolar.

El programa WEB beneficiará a toda nuestra comunidad escolar mediante mentoría entre estudiantes, actividades de participación y una cultura escolar más positiva para todos.

WEB training to prepare for WOW week events with Mrs. Leibenson and Ms. Ramirez Juarez!

Today we held our final Principal’s Cabinet meeting of the school year, bringing together both 7th and 8th grade student leaders one last time. Students shared honest feedback on school safety, student engagement, campus improvements, and our Digital Hall Pass pilot, while also reflecting on positive changes they’ve seen this year.

A special thank you to our 8th grade members for helping shape TJHS through their leadership, ideas, and willingness to speak up. Student voice matters, and many of the improvements on our campus begin with listening. Thank you for continuing to show Tiger Pride with Every Stride.

A great evening celebrating the talent and dedication of our TJHS musicians during tonight’s Spring Concert, “Music Through the Ages.” Students showcased their learning through classical pieces, chamber orchestra performances, and Mariachi Los Tigres.

Special shout out to Elyce Speckman and Morgan Machado for the many hours invested preparing students and growing our music program. Excited to continue expanding opportunities next year with the addition of a mariachi elective.

A special shout out following tonight’s Board Meeting. We are incredibly proud of two of our own, Jesus Martinez and Ari’elle Crane, for representing Turlock Junior High with pride, confidence, and kindness.

Thank you to Jesus for delivering the flags and leading the salute with professionalism, and to Ari’elle for sharing a memorable and inspirational message that reflected her character, perseverance, and care for others. Both students represented TJHS well and are reflective of the many amazing scholars we are fortunate to have on our campus.

We also want to recognize Donna Creighton for sharing the Staff Report, highlighting the outstanding efforts of many TJHS staff members who consistently go above and beyond to support students and help make our school a great place for all.

Nights like tonight serve as a reminder that student success is built through strong partnerships, dedicated staff, supportive families, and young people willing to lead. Tiger Pride with Every Stride.
