Focus on Safety and Teambuilding at LOCK-N-STITCH Today
The first part of the morning was spent in class learning the do's and don'ts of operating Power Industrial Trucks as defined by OSHA or for today at LNS, a Hyster Forklift. After classroom time all employees being certified had to pass the hands on portion of the course put on by Cintas. Doing the full safety inspection in front of the instructor and then showing successfully that each employee could maneuver the forklift in and out of obstacles, plus operate the forklift safely in the given surroundings.
In the afternoon all at LNS were invited out to the parking lot as a Surprise - the Kona Ice of S Central Stanislaus County Vickie & Sue's Kona Ice showed up for each employee to get their choice of a Shave Ice or Fruit Smoothies - some even enjoyed seconds!
A bit of relaxation and team bonding in the warm sun while enjoying a sweet treat is always a wonderful way to enjoy your team members. The LNS team had lots of smile and laughs; this always makes the time spent at work that much "sweeter".
Overall it was a wonderful day for Team LNS - putting safety first and of course growing together in this adventure, having fun fixing one casting at a time! Casting repair truly is our passion!

Thanks to LNS for the innovative technology and the team. Highly recommended.
“A recent customer success story highlights the effectiveness of our products in addressing common issues in classic vehicles. In December 2024, a customer from Germany contacted us after viewing a video of our products on YouTube. He reached out to us with images of the affected area on his 1942 Willy's Jeep, which had suffered a freeze crack underneath the distributor mount. The previous owner had temporarily repaired the crack, but the customer sought a permanent solution.
Our team assessed the situation and recommended our L4A pins, along with the necessary tooling. Despite being a first-time user of our products, the customer successfully completed the repair with ease, thanks to his mechanical aptitude and our comprehensive training materials. The repair process involved drilling and tapping the crack and installing the L4A pins. The customer reported that the process was straightforward and that the results were impressive.
This case study demonstrates the effectiveness of our products in addressing common issues in classic vehicles. The use of our L4A pins and tooling provided a permanent solution to the freeze crack, restoring the Jeep to optimal condition. We are pleased to have been able to assist the customer in preserving his classic vehicle and ensuring its continued reliability and performance.” Christian Breedveld, Customer Service Specialist I LOCK-N-STITCH

LNS Annual Holiday Party - the team enjoyed a fabulously catered meal prepared by an amazing local restaurant New Town Cafe. Including a delicious selection of chefs homemade cheesecakes for dessert.
Secret Santa gifts were exchanged while volunteers stepped up to the challenge for bike building as a donation for three very deserving children.
This was LNS first year partnering with a new organization ACT: Advancing Children of Turlock. The team had earlier this month built 50 hygiene kits for the kids at their Christmas event. Each child is shopped for at Target, given a blanket, meets with Santa and gets a hygiene kit.
The team also prepared at the lunch, 50 more kits to donate to Turlock Gospel Mission. This is the forth year of partnering to help TGM for the holidays. They are an incredible group that makes sure the unhoused in our community are taken care of and assisted to get back to work, and a home.
Today was all about coming together as a team to recognize everyone’s hard work all year long and to give back. Supporting those in our community that need a reason to smile at Christmas. It was a day for smiles!
From our team to yours, from our home to your home, we all wish you a memorable and safe Holiday Season!
