Modern Mini Planter 🌱

I challenged myself to a one day build to get my creativity going. I found a piece of maple with blue epoxy last year and got to work.

The box and slats are made from maple that rest on an ambrosia maple runner. I used poplar for the frame which I painted black and clear coated.

I added some planter fabric lining to help protect the maple from erosion. I did not add any hole drainage because I plan on using this planter for cacti and succulents.

I made this based of off Glenn's raised modern planter build.

Serving boards are done 🙌

Good for charcuterie, cheese, steaks or any snack. They are finished with food safe oil and beeswax.

Tapered pot holder 🌱

Made a few 8° cuts into some reclaimed wood. Stained it a dark walnut color and sealed for added durability. After it was done drying I added some rubber feet to the bottom for leveling and floor protection.

Made two for an order and one to keep 😁

Really happy with the way brought out the crimson color in the Paduk. Swipe to see a before picture.

Wine Caddies available🍷

I have three available. Walnut, poplar, and beech with a red oak finish. Each piece has been sealed and waxed for a high quality soft to the touch finish.

This is my take on a traditional wine caddy. The glass holders are spaced further from the center so they don't make contact with the bottle. I chamfered the edges for a sleek modern look. The edge profile along with the narrow slots for the glasses help keep them secure for easy transportation.
