Crisis Intervention Training
Congratulations to the Tupelo Police Department officers who recently completed CIT training last week. Pictured left to right: Officer Washington, Corporal Moore, Lieutenant Carter, Officer Graham, Reserve Officer Peck, and Officer Neal.
CIT training focuses on helping officers recognize and effectively respond to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. It provides tools to safely de-escalate situations and connect people with the care and resources they need.
Weโre proud of these officers for their commitment to ongoing training and service to our community!

๐ก DID YOU KNOW? ๐ก
Code Enforcement plays an important role in keeping Tupelo clean, safe, and attractive for everyone who lives, works, and visits our community.
A few common requirements found in the Tupelo Development Code include:
โ
Grass, weeds, and vegetation must be maintained and not allowed to become overgrown.
โ
Junk, debris, and discarded materials should not be accumulated on residential or commercial properties.
โ
Vehicles should be properly licensed and operable when stored on a property, unless otherwise permitted by the Development Code.
Maintaining your property helps protect neighborhood appearance, property values, and public health and safety.
Together, we can keep Tupelo looking its best! ๐ณโจ
