Selena is the sweetest 5-month-old kiddo ready to bring all the cuddles to a lucky family! While she loves cuddles, she is also always up for some puppy playtime, so an active lifestyle would absolutely be ok with her!

Selena along with 100's of other shelter and rescue dogs are all waiting to see you this Saturday at the Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa! The 2026 Tulsa MEGA Adoption Event doors open up at 9:30am and goes to 5:30pm!

Today we have Topher, this adorable gentle giant is a 1-year-old St Bernard Mix that loves a good couch snuggle but also a some fun playtime in the back yard! Topher can't wait for Saturday to meet everyone and find his furever family!

We are looking for volunteers to assit with the first ever Tulsa MEGA Adoption Event!

Volunteer duties could include:
-Assisting with directing potential adopters and guests around the facility.
-Ensure guets and pets are safe during the event.
-Assist Shelters and Rescues with questions and potential needs.
-Being a part of 100's of shelter pet's forever stories!

Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at the Arvest Convention Center in Downtown Tulsa animal lovers and caretakers will join together to find as many pet’s homes as possible! Featuring $25 or less adoption fees, same day adoptions, sponsors and vendors dedicated to saving animals, this is the event to find that special furry friend!

Even if you are not looking to adopt, come out to this FREE event and show your support to the hundreds of animal welfare professionals and volunteers that dedicate so much time, energy, and love into saving lives!

No family should have to choose between financial hardship and the pet they love. That’s why the Humane Society of Tulsa created the Stay Together Program, helping keep pets in their homes and out of overcrowded shelters.

Through this program, families facing difficult times can receive help with pet food, emergency short term boarding, and urgent medical care when they have nowhere else to turn.

Yesterday, a dog named Coconut was brought to us after his owner noticed a painful mass growing on his back. Already struggling financially and staying with family in a rural area, they feared they wouldn’t be able to get him the help he desperately needed. During surgery, Dr. Bone discovered the “tumor” was actually caused by a bullet lodged beneath his skin. Left untreated, the injury could have caused severe pain and long term damage.

Because of the Stay Together Program, Coconut received the care he needed and is now safely back home where he belongs, surrounded by the family who loves him.

Stories like this happen because compassionate people in our community choose to help. Your donation can mean emergency medical care, a full food bowl, or the difference between a pet staying with their family or entering a shelter. From 5pm-9pm this Friday only, 20% of your total check will be donated to HST to help save pets in the community.
