Guilty. 🙋🏼‍♀️

But hear me out…

When you spend your days helping people feel and function better, you start seeing just how much a well-functioning nervous system impacts everything.

Headaches? “Have you been adjusted?”
Trouble sleeping? “When was your last adjustment?”
Stress through the roof? “You should probably get adjusted.”

The awesome thing is, our chiropractors practice what we preach. We get adjusted regularly too.

How often? It depends on the season.

🤰 Pregnant? Sometimes once or twice a week.
😵‍💫 High stress season? Sometimes two or three times a week.
🏃‍♀️ Feeling good and maintaining? Maybe twice a month.

There’s no one-size-fits-all. Just like eating healthy, exercising, or getting enough sleep, your body’s needs change and support throughout different seasons of life.

So yes… our answer may still be “have you tried getting adjusted?” 😆

Not because it’s a magic fix for everything, but because a healthier, more adaptable nervous system helps your body handle life better.

🧠 Did you know movement is one of the brain’s primary sources of stimulation?

Every time your spine moves well, it sends important information to your brain about balance, coordination, posture, and the world around you. When joints become restricted, those messages can become less efficient.

That’s one reason we care so much about healthy spinal motion....from newborns to grandparents. Chiropractic care is designed to help restore movement, support nervous system function, and help your body do what it was designed to do.

Because when the brain and body communicate better, everything works better. 💚

You probably see this picture a lot on our feed.

This is Dr. Cassidy releasing the psoas....one of the most important muscles in pregnancy and one of the most overlooked!

The psoas is a deep core muscle that connects the low back, pelvis, and legs. As your belly grows and your center of gravity shifts forward, the psoas often becomes tight and overworked. When that happens, it can contribute to low back pain, hip pain, pelvic discomfort, sciatic-type symptoms, and that constant feeling of being “tight” through the front of your hips.

But its role in pregnancy goes beyond comfort.

The psoas sits directly alongside the uterus. When it’s carrying excessive tension, it can influence the balance and mobility of the pelvis and surrounding ligaments. A balanced, mobile pelvis creates more room for baby to move and settle into an optimal position, while excessive tension can contribute to asymmetries that may make positioning more challenging.

That’s why we spend so much time evaluating and addressing the psoas in our pregnant patients. Our goal isn’t just to help you feel better (which is always a plus!) it’s to also help create the best environment possible for your body and your baby as you prepare for birth.

A comfortable mom. A balanced pelvis. More room for baby.

That’s why you'll keep seeing this picture for ever and ever.

We want moms to walk into our office and feel like they can finally exhale.

No stupid questions.
No pressure.
No guilt trips.
No huge care plans.
No pretending we know everything.

Just honest care, listening, education, and support.

We believe healthcare should feel safe and collaborative — not trendy or performative.

If we can help, we will.
If we can’t, we’ll help you find someone who can.

We stay closely connected with other trusted providers because families deserve real support, not ego.

And truthfully… we get it.

We’ve had tense babies.
Hard pregnancies.
Painful recoveries.
Long nights.
Questions.
Overwhelm.

You don’t have to have it all together here. Come as you are. We'll take care of the rest.
