TONIGHT! We’re back at the Cinemark for the delightful little horror film UNDERTONE. We went in with no expectations but it delivered some major slow burn goosebumps. HIGHLY effective use of sound and cinematography made this simple premise stand out. Think of it as a mix between Sinister and Skinamarink. The tension is constant throughout, strong acting, and a great concept, we give it a 7.5/10!

Our 2026 movie calendar is off to a great start! We enjoyed 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE in all its rabid infected glory. Ralph Fiennes delivers yet another great performance, and the genre proves once again that the living can be much more terrifying than the infected hordes. Incredible sound design and a story that has some surprisingly sweet moments matched by some truly barbaric violence. Did we mention the satanic Iron Maiden dance number? This flick is different, but in a lot of good ways. 7.5/10

PREDATOR BADLANDS: I don’t know why this movie is getting so much hate from the critics on YouTube, but we freaking loved it. Well, almost all of us, but it’s not her fault. She fell asleep due to jet-lag from her recent trip to Japan. The movie delivered on action, with a buddy movie twist that we didn’t see coming. Plus, it had a lot of heart. Dropping this review just in time for those who doubted it, go check it out on discount Tuesdays at Cinemark and AMC. 8/10!
