Kicks for Kids is officially underway 🎉
Each week, students at Tulsa-area Title I schools are showing up, moving, building confidence and working toward something pretty special: race day.

Kicks for Kids helps make running accessible to kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity — and the Route 66 community gets to be part of it.

Want to help them get to the finish line?

This year's medals celebrate a pretty big moment: 100 years of Route 66 and one very special weekend of running the Mother Road right here in Tulsa.

🎉 The Marathon and Half Marathon medals feature confetti that actually shakes and moves inside the medal.

💙 Important First Mile Update

This isn't the update we hoped to share.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the outdoor venue for today's First Mile event is no longer usable. We were made aware of this challenge late yesterday evening and immediately began exploring every possible option. Ultimately, we realized we couldn't safely deliver the experience our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and community deserve on such short notice—and that simply isn't who we are.

First Mile has always been more than a group run. It's the unofficial start of training season—a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new running friends, and take those first miles together before celebrating at the finish line this fall.

We're incredibly disappointed, and we know many of you are too. Thank you for your understanding, your grace, and your continued support of the Williams Route 66 Marathon and TTCU Tulsa Run.

We'll see you this fall. ❤️

From small towns to big cities, there’s something special about lacing up your shoes and exploring America one mile at a time. And there’s no road more iconic than Route 66.
