We officially held our first meeting of the year this week! Our team of young professionals is ready to hit the ground running to support the Oklahoma Chapter. From advocacy to local outreach, we’re dedicated to making a difference for those affected by Alzheimer’s in our community. Stay tuned for what’s ahead!

YPAS Member Spotlight: Dillon Giles!

Meet Dillon Giles, a Sales Engineer at c3controls and a proud member of the Young Professionals Alzheimer’s Society (YPAS).

Dillon joined YPAS to make a difference after seeing the impact of Alzheimer’s on his grandmother and his family. Watching the disease affect someone he loves deeply motivated him to take action.

“I wanted to do something to make a difference. Supporting the mission to raise awareness and work toward a cure felt like a meaningful way to help.”

Meet Avery Sessom, a first-year member of the Young Professionals Alzheimer’s Society (YPAS) and a dedicated member of the Mission Engagement Committee.

Avery’s passion for the cause comes from her great grandpa’s journey with Alzheimer’s. She joined YPAS to learn more about the disease and help raise money and awareness to support families and advance research.

Avery works as a Senior Consultant Engineer at FM Global and brings energy and purpose to our mission. 💜
