Missing your ShulSchool friends this morning? Don't go a whole summer without them!

Camp Kesher day Camp experience held at Congregation B'nai Emunah from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., designed for elementary-aged campers. Rooted in joyful Jewish living, each day blends music, art, STEM, outdoor play, Hebrew, celebration, and hands-on learning in a warm, relationship-centered environment. Camp brings together the very best of our year-round programs — the connection of Kesher, the creativity of ShulSchool, and the nurturing spirit of our preschool program — into one vibrant summer experience

This morning we celebrated Tu B'shevat by learning about the Talmudic story of Honi the Circle Maker. Honi taught us that we care for the earth not only for ourselves but for future generations to enjoy. Then, our students learned about Yoko Ono's famous "Wish Tree," where people put their wishes for the future on trees around the world. The connection to Tu B'shevat was most obvious to our students! Our students crafted beautiful wishes for the future and together we made our own ShulSchool Wish Tree. Happy Tu B'Shevat!

With extreme cold warnings in effect, we are making a few adjustments to this weekend’s programming out of care for one another.

Friday night Shabbat Shalom musical service and dinner will be postponed to a later date. Shabbat morning services will take place on Zoom only. ShulSchool and all Sunday morning programming are canceled.

A synagogue is more than its programs. We are a community, and especially during moments like this, caring for one another comes first. Please stay warm, check in on those who may be vulnerable, and do not hesitate to reach out if you or someone you know needs support.
