P.S. Rosie was disappointed that her favorite place, Three Dogs Bakery, was closed for the evening😭 We’ll be in for treats soon!

There’s not a ton of information out there just yet, but we know the concept will center around crêpes — and honestly, we’re already intrigued. Sweet? Savory? Both? We’ll be ready to investigate. 😋

The space is already getting some attention, including a mural concept inspired by crêpes, coffee, and roses. 🌹

We’ll be watching for more details, including the menu and opening date. Camina Crepe Co., we’re ready when you are! 🥞❤️

We had SO much fun hanging out with the Life Time South Tulsa Arora group yesterday and sharing some of our favorite places to eat, explore and enjoy right here in the 918! Thank you for having us, Arora!

We may be dedicated to championing local spots, but sometimes lunch has to happen FAST. 😂 So, in a serious lapse of our usual Tulsa Places protocol, we swung through Chick-fil-A afterward to try the new Chicken & Waffles. 🧇🍗 Chick-Fil-A 104th & Memorial

And y’all… HOLY MOLY. 🤯

Fast food understood the assignment. That sweet-and-savory combo is GOOD. Like, really good.

So yes, we’ll always tell you where to find the best local gems — but we’re also not above admitting when a fast-food chain knocks it out of the park. 😂

I absolutely loved my Churro Latte! 🤤 Cinnamon-y, sweet and SO delicious!

Dulce Vida at 81st & Yale serves up Mexican-inspired coffee drinks and bakery items, making it the perfect spot to try something a little different. And as if the coffee wasn’t enough reason to stop by… they have an AXOLOTL PET! 🥹🦎

Our adventures along Route 66, celebrating the Mother Road’s Centennial, continued in July with a visit to Empire Slice House Tulsa 🍕 in Meadow Gold District | Route 66 in Tulsa, Oklahoma! This was somehow my first time there, and I was so impressed. You can buy pizzas whole or by the slice. Bernie and I loved the Midnight Cowboy 🤠 slice … it includes brisket and the yummiest BBQ sauce and will only be on the menu through the end of August. The pepperoni slice and garlic knots were also delicious. We needed something sweet and inquired about the Little Shondas - four no-bake cookies from the owner’s mama’s famous recipe … includes chocolate, peanut butter, coconut, & vanilla. Shonda definitely knew what she was doing when it comes to no-bake cookies! Yum!😋

All of this pizza consumption got us wondering how other people eat their slices. Do you eat it the “ladylike” way, like Bernie, cutting it with a fork and knife? Or do you just use the messy hands 🖐️ method, like me? Do you fold your slices? Is there a right way to do all of this? 🤣

All right, , we only have 5 months left in 2026 to explore food spots along Route 66! Where should the Route 66 Chics 🐥🐣 go next?
