Turn Crafted

Well, someone wanted to play bumpercars on my way home tonight.

Busy day. The monster coffee table is in the sanding phase. Then sealer, and etc etc.

People who know me understand that I love coffee. Not just like. I got into roasting a couple years ago and have had a few roasts that, well, failed. Now I will cast those beans in resin to make coasters and a coffee tray.
I cast these in black first. Sanded it and now added a slightly smokey layer. One they cure I can cut them and add a felt bottom.

Casting color pencils in black epoxy. Layer one cast and layer two layers on. Layer two epoxy is tomorrow with layer three of pencils

Started removing the old epoxy top from my first desk build. Refinish after sanding.

18ft of a pecan slab. Relief cuts on the bottom and 13 4*4 braces to draw out some of the bow. It will be like this for several months. Tighten them once a week. After that will be multiple sticks of c-channel steel to help hold it flat. Then the bottom will be flattened before flipping it and starting on the top.

Install and flood coat poor on a 16ft counter top.

Completed this vanity today. Burn finish with satin poly. Turned out really good.

Sank three phone poles for a porch.

Working on a small vanity with a vessel sink. Now for sanding and finishing. And drilling for the plumbing.
