Today was inspection day for my seller! He didn't need any coaching but some people do. Here's a short list that will help! Do these 6 things before you have a home inspection.

Essential Preparation Checklist.
🚪 Access Areas: Clear 6–12 inches of space around the perimeter of your home and ensure access to the electrical panel ⚡, furnace 🔥, water heater 💧, and attic 🪜.
✨ Clean & Organize: Clean the house thoroughly, including the kitchen 🍳, bathrooms 🛁, and appliances 🧼.
🧯 Safety Checks: Replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors ⏰, test them, and check that fire extinguishers are present 🧯.
🛠️ Functional Checks: Replace burnt-out light bulbs 💡, fix leaky faucets 🚰, ensure toilets don't continuously run 🚽, and check that all doors/windows open and close properly 🚪.
📄 Documentation: Gather maintenance records 📁 for the roof, HVAC systems 🌬️, and any major repairs 🔧.
🌳 Exterior: Clear debris from gutters 🍂, trim trees touching the roof 🌲, and ensure downspouts divert water away from the foundation 🧱.
