As many of you know, May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and honor the service and sacrifice of our Active-Duty Service Members, National Guard, Veterans, and their families.
To show our support, we are excited to launch our very first Envelope Challenge fundraiser benefiting the Coffee Bunker! 🇺🇸☕
Participating is simple and fun: choose an envelope and donate the amount listed inside. Donations can also be made in honor or memory of a loved one who has served.
Thank you for helping us support those who have given so much. For more information, check out the link in the first comment below!

Connection was truly highlighted today through an emotional reunion when Sgt. Christopher Gomez and Sgt. Steven Bishop met after 21 years. The two first met in Germany in 2003, serving in the same command, before being assigned to separate missions, only to reconnect later during a deployment to Iraq. It was a difficult deployment that left a lasting impact on both men.
After their military service, they reconnected through Facebook and decided to meet today at Coffee Bunker. Chris now serves as a counselor with Veterans Upward Bound, helping veterans return to school and pursue their educational goals. Steven is now exploring the opportunity to finish his degree.
It’s inspiring to see battle buddies remain connected through the years and continue finding purpose and support after service.
