Students from Kansas, OK enjoyed their first week back to school at STARBASE Tulsa. Along with learning about Newton's Laws of Motion, building molecules, as well as building and launching straw rockets. Also doing the Roboitcs Challenge with Sphero's and Nano Technology with 2 different types of sand; the students were then treated to a demonstration by Mr. Wade's dad! He brought in his Marble Machine (patterned after Rube Goldberg). What a treat!

STARBASE Oklahoma's 2.0 afterschool program at Union's 6th & 7th Grade Center on March 31st with the 6th grade club was a huge success! The CO2 Dragster races were held in the cafeteria with a large group of spectators! Thank you to all who attended! 1st place went to Hannah. 2nd place went to Addyson. and 3rd place went to Carsyn. All the students are winners in our eyes! We had a fantastic year even with all the hurdles we had to jump! After the races we ended our evening with a ceremony to hand out prizes and certificates to each club member. Cookies, cupcakes, and flavored water was served for a light refreshment during our graduation ceremony! Congratulations to each and every one of you on a job well done! We hope to see you next year in the 7th grade 2.0 club!
