The Edison Foundation awards grants to teachers and staff in the fall and spring of each school year. The board considers grant proposals for classroom curriculum, educational supplies, continuing education for faculty, department needs and physical improvements to the school. We welcome Designated Donor gifts from alumni and community supporters which enable donors to make restricted tax-deductib

In September 2023, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $764 for Senior Round Up event included works to ensure Seniors have completed requirements for graduation, etc.
>CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certificate
>FAFSA (financial assistance to continue their education at a university or technical school)
>Representatives to assist with ordering deadlines for caps/gowns, etc.
>Tulsa Achieves: Tulsa Community College partners present their program qualifications.
>Next Step - Tulsa Higher Education Consortium helps students understand the transition process from high school to college and how college credits transfer from two year and high school to four-year universities.
>Motivational speaker and pizza lunch

In February 2023, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $1950 for Deaf Ed Life Skills programming that included field trips (transportation, bus passes, admission fees, meals, etc.) and a vacuum.

In October 2022, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $2350 to supplement the transportation provided by the school and funds for 7th graders to attend an Arts enrichment field trip to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the Tulsa Ballet.

In February 2023, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $3000 to replace 20 worn out shoulder pads for the Edison 🦅Football team. Football Games are an important part of community spirit at Edison and benefit not just players, but cheerleading, POM, the Band and fans. In February 2023, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $2909 for Half of the Price of a New Volleyball Net System for the Edison Volleyball Club. This new net was part of what would be needed to host tournaments at our school. Showing the community once again how Edison excels. Help continue to make Edison a school that excels in all arenas.

In February 2023, the Edison Foundation approved a grant for $1600 for the French Exchange Program for transportation costs to be able to enrich students experiences as they communicated and toured locally. This reciprocated Edison student experiences while in France.
