Tulsa Zoo
Connecting, Caring, Advocating for Wildlife, People, and Wild Places Follower, fan, friend, whatever you consider yourself, Tulsa Zoo welcomes you!
Tulsa Zoo seeks to connect, care, advocate for wildlife, people, and wild places. In that spirit, we use Facebook to share information about animals, conservation and zoo events. We always like seeing your feedback, be it praise or concerns. We do at times have to remove inappropriate posts. This includes posts that contain offensive language, harassment or personal attacks; off-topic information,
One of the most common questions we receive this time of year is: "How do you keep the animals cool in the summer?" โ๏ธ
From pools and misters to exhibit design and species-specific care, our animal care teams work hard to provide each animal with an environment suited to their unique needs.
Watch our latest video with Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) to learn how we help our animals beat the Oklahoma heat and pick up a few tips to help you stay cool this summer, too!

Mission ImPopsicle presented by Renewal by Andersen is back! ๐ง Throughout the summer, our care teams create frozen ice enrichment of all shapes and sizes, encouraging natural behaviors, activity and play for the animals in our care.
Giving is a treat, too! From now through Labor Day, help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 for the Tulsa Zoo operating fund through donations at a variety of chill symbolic giving levels.
Want to add a little extra fun to your visit? Join us for Operation: Ice Spy on Saturday, June 20, supported by Scheels, and Monday, September 7, supported by Andy B's, from 10 a.m. to noon. Purchase an Ice Spy card for $10 at the Front Globe, visit all four stops and receive a special Mission ImPopsicle prize as you leave the zoo.
Don't miss this unique chance to support the Tulsa Zoo and connect with your favorite animals as they lick, chew and explore their cool ice creations! ๐ง
