Time is running out to sign up for our gel plate workshop!!

Create beautiful monotype prints without a press! Learn the process of monotype printmaking using acrylic paints with gel plates. Students will follow step by step lessons to pull their own print, in addition to demonstrations in how to pull prints using mixed mediums, found objects and collage elements.
Registration for the class is $95 – supplies included! The class will be on Saturday, June 20th from 11am-3pm at the TAC Gallery. 9 E. Reconciliation Way, Tulsa, OK 74103.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Claudette Torneden is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans photography, painting, drawing, and printmaking. Her background includes education at the University of New Orleans and Memphis College of Art as well as work experience in painting, illustration, advertising design, and journalism. Her work has been featured in various publications, exhibited nationwide, and is held in multiple private and corporate collections across the country. Recent and current exhibits which feature her work include The Magic of Light in Los Angeles, The 21st National at fotofoto Gallery in New York wherein her work received an honorable mention, and her solo photography exhibit Reflections of Route Sixty-Six at Spiva Center for the Arts in Missouri.

Welcome Bethany Speed to the TAC gallery this summer as our intern!

She's currently studying for her Masters in Fine Arts in Painting online through the Savannah College of Art and Design. Bethany also teaches full time at Jenks High School as a visual arts teacher while freelancing as a regional wedding photographer.

The Pickup published a wonderful article about Michael Play Wright's performance piece, Enchiridion of the Quotidian: Definitions of the Commonplace, A Performance Art Jam, which premiers this Friday, May 22, 2026, at TAC Gallery from 7-8 pm.

The TAC Board is deeply saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of Scott Goodpaster. A longtime member of Tulsa Artists’ Coalition, he was an important part of Tulsa's artistic community and a presence that will be greatly missed.

His work, generosity, and friendship left a lasting mark on so many, and his loss will be felt throughout the art community.

On behalf of the TAC Board and Membership, we extend heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
