IF YOU’RE IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY - is it just me that gets these calls daily?? 😅🙃✨

What have I learned about Becca & cosmetic tattooing as an observer the last 3 years? ✨

To start - watching her has given me a love & appreciation for cosmetic & paramedical tattooing. She is not only amazing at what she does, but she is a ONE-WOMAN SHOW! The work & dedication that goes in to owning your own beauty business, providing a clean & healthy environment, & truly caring about clients has given me a new perspective of what true entrepreneurship is.

Believe me, she makes it look easy with the cute & fun pink photos/ videos but it is so so much more than that.

As someone who is picky & questions every little thing - I would trust Becca with my life: the precision, detail, & time she puts into her work.

Basically to wrap it all up, Becca is ONE HECK of an artist & trainer.

PS. (I love this photo of Becca. It truly shows her beautiful & vibrant soul) 💓🎨👄

Not only do I love making women feel beautiful, I genuinely love getting to know my girls too. 💓

Fun fact about me: I’m actually a total introvert disguised as an extrovert. I’m loyal, a little extra, and probably oversharing right back with you. 😅

Babe Ink has always been about creating a space where women feel beautiful, comfortable, and welcome no matter what kind of crazy story they come with. Now… there was one story that almost made me fall out of my chair. But 99.99% of the time, there’s zero judgment over here. Just good energy, girl talk (when I’m not actually tattooing), and cosmetic tattoos. 🎨👄

Please read this full caption so I don’t regret posting this service. 😉💕
Combo Brows with Machine Hair Strokes ✨

I have quietly offered this services on a very limited basis for years, but avoided posting it publicly or encouraging it because not everyone is a candidate for healed hairstrokes. Most of my clientele is better suited for and expecting the healed result of ombré.

This lovely lady, however, was the PERFECT candidate 🤍

With the hairstroke trend making a strong comeback, I know many of you are asking about this style, so I want to set realistic expectations upfront:

✨ BEST candidates:
• Minimal sun damage
• Tight skin/smaller pores
• Balanced natural brow hair
• Little to no previous work
• Healthier skin overall
Most importantly REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

🚫 NOT ideal for:
• Thin, crepey, ruddy, blotchy or heavily sun-damaged skin
• Oily or textured skin
• Dense hair or/and misshapen “tadpole” brow patterns from overplucking trends
• Heavy old work in the front of the brows or huge missing patches of hair
• Clients expecting crisp hairstrokes forever - not a realistic expectation

Fresh hairstrokes ALWAYS heal softer and not quite as crisp as they are when they are fresh. Also, this is not microblading it’s all by machine.

If I recommend ombré brows instead, it is not a downgrade. Ombré brows are still my #1 recommendation for most clients because they age beautifully and heal more predictably long term. Ps ombre is what I have on my own face. ✨
Again, as I’ve told so many… you can always make a few swipes of a hair-stroke brow pen in the front of your ombré brows when you want that look.

📣Combo brows are priced higher due to the added detail and time required.

If this is the style you are after, you can always text us a full face photo in natural light without brow makeup and we can tell you if you are a candidate or not. 🫶🏼
If you’re curious who good candidate is, look at her before picture and her before video. 😘

It’s time for a friendly LOWER EYELINER REMINDER ✨

I’ve been getting a lot of calls and texts about them over the last few weeks.
Let’s chat about them…

🐼I do not encourage them & I do not have them on my own face. If I do them (after we discuss thoroughly) I do a very fine line like the photo above. I will not go all the way in past your iris. I will not do a bold line.🦝

Here’s why:
🪄 Skin thins with age: The under-eye area becomes more delicate, most people prefer less attention be called to this area at some point in their life.
👁️ Eyes naturally droop with age: This typically changes the shape and balance.
📐Eyes are naturally asymmetric: Most people have a different bone structure on each side, eye axis imbalance, or one eye that appears larger than the other. Adding a line on bottom can make this more noticeable.
🫟Creates a harsh or heavy look: As skin texture changes, a solid lower liner can look too strong or dated.
🎨Color can fade unevenly: The area under the eye doesn’t always hold pigment consistently, so it might fade patchy.
🕶️ Might enhance dark circles and fine lines: Instead of brightening, lower liner can draw attention to under-eye discoloration or wrinkles.

I rarely post them because I do not want to encourage them, however, this photo is a perfect example of what I am willing to do! *As long as there is not a very large gap in your lateral canthus (outer corner) because I can not connect the upper and lower line. 🫶🏼

🫶🏼When it comes to eyeliner tattoos more is not better. We want soft styles that look great with or without makeup. We do not want the eyeliner to overpower your eyelashes, we need it to enhance them. We want something that enhances our eyes and makes them sparkle, but does not distract or change position as our skin falls after many years of aging.

💕My favorite style is eyelash enhancement eyeliner for all the reasons I listed above. You can always draw on the bold style with your eyeliner when you are feeling extra. 👸🏼

Vibrant color with some swelling can be normal after your appointment. 🫶 You can’t expect to not be after getting poked! The good news is - the swelling & bold results don’t last forever & can heal fairly quickly depending on your skin type & how well you take care of the areas. 😉💋

Also - take this as your sign to follow the pre/post instructions! They are provided to help guide you through the healing process. 💓

DID YOU KNOW 👇🫦

This time of year is honestly one of the BEST times for lip blushing healing. Warmer months typically mean lips heal a little easier and faster thanks to the extra humidity in the air and less dry indoor heater air constantly pulling moisture from the lips. Less dryness= easier lip healing. 👏🏼

Her lips… just better 💋🎀

Soft definition, balanced tone, and that healthy little flush without needing lipstick every day. Lip blushing is one of my favorite treatments because it heals so naturally and gives you that effortless “you look refreshed” look.

Fresh lips always heal softer, lighter, and more natural than day one. Typically 50-60% softer. The perfecting session is needed 8-12 weeks after to achieve the full result. Cosmetic tattooing is done in layers, we never want to over saturate or traumatize the tissue by trying to achieve the full result in just one session. 💕
