Security services work best when they are visible, professional, and built around the property itself.

Tulsa Security Task Force provides security services for businesses, retail areas, apartment communities, construction sites, churches, offices, and commercial properties across Tulsa and nearby communities. Our patrols include off-duty police, marked patrol presence, clear communication, and documented observations when something needs attention.

For many properties, the goal is simple: make the area feel watched, reduce repeat problems, and give managers a clear point of contact when security concerns come up.

If your property needs private security, security patrol, or armed security support, Tulsa Security Task Force is available to talk through the site and build a practical coverage plan.

Tulsa Police Foundation is proud to invest in downtown public safety. This means equipping officers with the tools and support they need to serve our community well.

Thanks to investments from the Tulsa Police Foundation, officers are equipped with e-bikes, UTVs, and the resources needed for the reinstated mounted patrol to better serve and engage our downtown community.

β€œ...our officers are better equipped to proactively serve downtown Tulsa,” shared Gilcrease Division Commander Mark Ohnesorge.

Come see it for yourself! Join us at Guthrie Green during Food Truck Wednesday on May 20, 11am – 2pm, for a Downtown Public Safety Meet & Greet. Meet officers, ask questions, and check out the equipment, helping keep Tulsa safe.

Heightened Threat Environment – Recent events may increase terrorism potential

Right now, the United States is in a heightened threat environment, underscored by tragic events such as the recent mass shooting in Austin, Texas, in which two people lost their lives, and several were injured. The FBI is actively investigating possible connections to terrorism.

While there's no credible information at this time indicating any specific threat here in Tulsa or across Oklahoma, incidents like this remind us that risks can appear anywhere, even in our community.

That's why public awareness is very important.

The Department of Homeland Security's "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign is a simple yet powerful tool we all share. Trust your gut if you notice anything that feels off, such as:
β€’ Unusual or suspicious behavior
β€’ Unattended bags, packages, or items in public spaces
β€’ Other activities that just don't seem right
..please don't hesitate to act. Your observation could prevent something serious.

In Tulsa, reporting is easy:
β€’ For emergencies: Call 911 right away
β€’ For non-emergencies or tips: use the non-emergency number 918-596-9222

Every tip counts: you could be the difference that keeps our city safe.

Let's stay vigilant, stay connected, and look out for one another.

One Pill Kills.

Fentanyl is endangering Texans of all ages. It is often pressed into fake pills or cut into street drugs, such as methamphetamine, he**in and co***ne β€” often without the user knowing it β€” and the outcome can be deadly.

Another night of clear skies and light winds are expected tonight into Wednesday morning and will contribute to areas of freezing fog across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Fog may become dense with visibilities falling to 1/2 mile or less. Additionally, temperatures below freezing will allow for development of slick spots on roads. Take precautions if traveling Wednesday morning in areas that experience freezing fog.
