Our friend Casper the therapy dog stopped by Pathways! 🐾💚
Casper visits us about once a month, and we always look forward to seeing him. When Casper and his person, Brian, arrived in August, Brian said Casper headed straight for the Pathways entrance as soon as they got out of the car!
It’s safe to say Casper loves his visits to Pathways just as much as our students love seeing him. We’re always happy to welcome our furry friend! 🐶💚

Lighting the Way to Possibility

Fractions + pizza = a fun way to learn! 🍕➗
In math class, Vinnie recently practiced fractions using a pizza-themed activity to help visualize the concept. By working with different portions of a pizza, he was able to see fractions in a fun and hands-on way.
We love finding creative ways to make learning engaging and easier to understand. Great job, Vinnie! 💚

Snowball fight! ❄️☃️
Our students “cooled” off with a fun indoor snowball fight using soft, cushy fake snowballs! There may not have been any real snow, but that didn’t stop our students from having a blast. 😄

Do you know the anatomy of a rose? 🌹 Our students do!
Taren and her classmates in the Green Classroom created charts labeling the different parts of a rose. From the petals to the stem, they know them all!
We love seeing our students explore new subjects, build their knowledge, and share what they’ve learned. Great job, Taren and the Green Classroom! 💚

Any movement is good movement! 💚
At Pathways, we encourage our students to find fun ways to move their bodies each day. Recently, our Yellow Classroom brought some friendly competition to their day with a game of bean bag toss!
We hear things got pretty competitive between a few of our students! 😄
Our goal is to give our students the tools and skills they need to live happier, healthier, and more enriching lives. Sometimes, that looks like a workout, and sometimes, it looks like a fun game of bean bag toss! 💚

Our students work on important life skills every day! 💚
During Independent Living, students recently practiced folding different types of clothing. Sophie worked on folding a shirt, while Emma and Kara practiced folding socks!
These everyday activities help students build confidence and practice skills they can use at home and in their daily lives. We’re so proud of their hard work! 💚
