The Tulsa Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan with a recommended prioritization process for participating communities.
The Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan is an effort to identify and prioritize bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure projects for 11 cities in the Tulsa metro area. The end result will be a comprehensive look at bicycle and pedestrian facilities (on-street bikeways, bike lanes, traffic signals, sidewalks, crosswalks, etc.) Toole Design Group from Washington, DC has been hired to complete the plan over the course of 18 months. It’s expected that the draft plan will be available near the end of 2014.

SEAT BELT SAFETY: Oklahoma is ranked No. 43 in the nation for seat belt use. We are worse than all of the surrounding states in the region with the exception of only one: Arkansas.
Together, let’s aim higher. Buckling up helps keep you safe and secure inside your vehicle, whereas not buckling up can result in being totally ejected from the vehicle in a crash, which is almost always deadly.
