Been in foster home and now officially looking for his forever home.

This sweet boy is truly the whole package: he’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, fully house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s an all-around gentle, loving companion with the kindest little soul.

Aguire does require eye drops twice a day for chronic dry eye in his left eye, but he is an absolute pro about it — he sits patiently and takes his medication like a champ. It’s just part of his routine, and he handles it with ease.

One of our favorite guys, Chase, is looking for a new foster home due to his current foster needing to step down for personal reasons—no fault of his own.

Looking for a little sidekick with a big personality? Chase is your guy! This adorable boy is housebroken, loves kids, and gets along with both cats and dogs. He may be shy at first, but give him a little time and he’ll be happily following you around and greeting you at the door like you’ve been best friends forever. 🐶💕

Chase is naturally curious and loves to explore—always checking things out and keeping tabs on his people. He’s currently working on crate training and would do best with gentle dog companions, as larger dogs can make him nervous.

He is also a bit of an escape artist, so he will need a very secure yard and should be taken out on a leash until he feels comfortable in his new environment.

Diathesis is a sweet, sassy little Silky Terrier, approximately 3 years old, who is full of personality and fun!

Fosters truly are the FRONT LINE for these dogs & a critical step in saving more lives! A foster home is a temporary living situation for dogs while awaiting placement in a permanent home. Foster families provide shelter, care, love, and guidance. The number of dogs we can save depends entirely on the number of people who will open their homes and hearts to foster them. For some of these dogs, this will be their first experience being treated as a family pet.

Fosters will keep dogs an average of 2-8 weeks. Some pets need more time because of age, illness, injury, or behavior issues. Your time commitment will be discussed up-front before you agree to foster the pet, but most foster families keep the dog until the dog gets adopted.

What are the Responsibilities of a Foster Family?
Provide a safe, clean, and caring environment for the dog.
Ensure the dog gets appropriate food, water, exercise, and socialization.
Monitor any medical and/or behavioral problems and provide medications as directed.
Assist with transport to/from adoption events.
Communicate with us about the needs of the dog.
