CAPITAL CRUISE UPDATE:
Tulsa's Route 66 Capital Cruise was an unprecedented event that took the efforts of our entire community, and more, to make happen.
Despite Saturday's successful Guinness World Records attempt, many drivers that lined up to be in the parade ultimately were unable to participate. We recognize the effort, enthusiasm and commitment that went into being part of this celebration, and more importantly recognize the frustration these negative experiences caused.
We sincerely apologize to every affected driver. As such, all registered drivers will receive a refund of their base registration fees. Those will be physical checks mailed by the end of the month with no action required by registered drivers. Additionally, any drivers who purchased Capital Cruise merchandise and were unable to pick it up onsite will have it shipped to them free of charge.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and grace as we worked to manage an event of unprecedented scale.
