Tonight join us for a fun night of Ice Staking & Broomball. It will be from 10pm to midnight at the Blazers Ice Center. Only $8 per skater. We will meet at the XA house at 8:30.

Just under 4 hrs until we go live for the Tulsa XA Salt fundraiser! 🥧 It will be a pie auction with pies and more for bid. ⏰ STARTS 5pm so don’t miss it!!!

Our students are excited to get training, experience great community, hear from God, and see the Holy Spirit move at our end-of-year conference, SALT. However, like everything right now the price has had to go up due to cost of hosting the conference going up.

“I think since coming to college I’ve kind of found my identity more in the Lord and actually developing a faith of my own.  It’s been an interesting year just seeing what the Lord has done and how he’s kind of moved my path forward and walked with me and really like, set me in my faith and my identity.  And I think that’s come with a lot of new friendships and new relationships too. And that comes from knowing who I am more…"

"I think having people around me gave me a lot of confidence this year, and like a healthy confidence.  I went through PLR and started leading a Bible study, which has been crazy… – going from not really having a faith this time last year, to all of a sudden being involved in actual ministry has been really cool. 

It’s kind of different being in the group and looking at the leaders and going, “I could be there” and then when you actually get there, you’re like, “that’s not what it looks like at all.”

"I’m still very new to the whole leading thing, and it’s kind of weird leading a Bible study now instead of being in one, but I think it’s been a good change, and like, I have to be more careful with my time, and careful with the words I say to other people.   And I think discipling people and just being there for them in times when they’re struggling, and being like a voice of reason and truth has been really cool.  It’s kind of given me some new perspectives and some new wisdom from the Lord."

“I did not trust churches or communities at all. So, coming here… I met Cara, I think a week after Breakaway that’s when I realized, I have to be at Chi Alpha, that’s where God wants me to be. I came to Cara’s house and I told her, “You guys are just going to leave me, cause that’s what churches do, they leave.” And we spent maybe like an hour or two… Cara telling me, “I am never going to leave you, I am going to stay with you through this, we’re in this together.” So, I told Cara, I don’t know if I can trust you, or Chi Alpha, but I know that I can trust the God that’s in you and in Chi Alpha...” 

“So, that’s what I did.I trusted God and God brought me to Cynthia and Cynthia’s Bible study and here I am right now… doing outreaches and everything!”
