From start to finish, this event was energetic and empowering. We enjoyed the interactive networking session, where the girls stepped out of their comfort zones to practice communication skills with professional women. During the session about salary negotiation, one girl said to another, “You have to know your worth.” That is what it is all about – women empowering other women. We are already looking forward to the next Invest in Girls event. Thank you, Oklahoma Council on Economic Education, for bringing this wonderful event to Tulsa.

Last Friday was one of those days that reminds you why we love our Tulsa community so much.

We joined others in supporting City Year’s MLK Day of Service, helping refresh and beautify learning spaces at Nathan Hale High School. It was a joy to make a meaningful impact—and to remind students they are supported and valued by their community.
