After 11 straight days of full gas racing in huge stacked fields at Tour of America's Dairyland, Cesar came out with a 3rd Place in the Overall Classification (He was top 10 almost every single day and podiumed multiple times)! Gambler Crit Series #3 Adam Tingler was a marked man leading the series and unable shake the field with several break attempts. Eric Franklin establishing a break and Cesar Serna bridging to join. The 2 lap lead out by Franklin set up Cesar for the WIN!

What a weekend! We could not be more proud of Cesar Serna and his incredible efforts over the weekend at Oklahoma City Pro-Am Classic!

Friday night, Cesar stayed in the front of the race and with 40 minutes remaining in the race, he hit a pothole so big that it caused his Rear Di2 cable to come unplugged while he was in his 11. So, our very own Rigo, accepted the challenge. Stuck in his 11 tooth gear he managed to not only stay in the race, but sprint to 5th just behind the race winners. Amazing!

Saturday, Cesar got his bike fixed and knew it was going to be a fast and technical day that always leaves the field strung out throughout the course so he positioned himself perfectly behind the Tab-Citadel train as they relentlessly pulled back the breakaway and caught them with 1/2 a lap to go. Cesar fought the field and maintained his position and was able to sprint for 3rd place right behind Holowesko Citadel Racing Team p/b Arapahoe Resources John Murphy and Miguel Bryon!!

Sunday was another fast and technical course and Cesar played it smart but a breakaway, with late joining members outsmarted not only the field, but the whole Tab Citadel team. Cesar was placed perfectly behind their train again, but this time being behind the break, he was only able to sprint for 11th place, but still, another amazing day, especially after his previous 2 grueling efforts!

Stay tuned, because with Tulsa Tough this weekend, there is going to be much more amazing and exciting racing to come!!

What a day at the 2018 Palmer Sand Springs Criterium hosted by Team Tom's Bicycles p/b Topeca! This course never disappoints and the weather behaved for us all day to make for an excellent day of racing. We kicked it off in the morning with Braxton Mundell and Adam Tingler in the Men's 30-39 Age Based State Championship race. It was strung out the whole time and after countless attempts to form a breakaway, the pack showed they were not letting anyone go. The pace was high the entire race and Braxton was able to hang on for 3rd and Adam finished right behind in 4th. It was a hard fought and close race but congrats to Ryan Dupree of Team Soundpony - Triad Bank on the big win!

The last race of the day was the P1/2/3 race. With Cesar Serna, Braxton, and Adam in the mix. Highly outnumbered by DNA, Adam and Braxton put in a lot of work to pull back breaks and keep control of the field until Cesar was able to attack on the hill and get into the break that finally stuck with DNA RACING's Ryan Currie and Hunter East. The odds were against him (And he had already won two primes) but Cesar loves a challenge. After numerous attacks to get away he was forced to pull them for the last 8 laps he was still able to have that final kick to the line to get the WIN!!

High intensity races like these with demanding courses that you have to sprint over punchy climbs multiple times each lap make us thankful we have Topical Edge!

Thank you Team Tom's for hosting such a great race every year and for supporting a great cause!
