Tulsa Women In Transition
Helping Women Return to College through College Fairs, and workshops providing women the resources to and were interested in going back to school.
In 2003 a group of about 15 women met with the goal of hosting a college fair for women who have had a major transition in their life such as divorce, separation, recent job lay off, death of a spouse, etc. In the years that have followed, WIT have expanded from one event a year to two events a year, a mentoring program and a competitive scholarship program.
