These sweet faces should be curled up on couches, not waiting in kennels.

While our kittens and small dogs often find homes quickly, our medium and large dogs tend to wait much longer for their chance. We know their perfect families are out there, and we can't wait for the day they find them.

They have so much love to give, endless loyalty, and are just waiting for someone to see how special they are. Could that someone be you?

Help us spread the word by sharing this post. Together, we can help these deserving pups trade their kennels for couches and finally get the happy ending they've been waiting for.

3 days.

That is how long this sweet girl was lying on the side of the road before someone finally stopped to help.

Meet Starlight. She is estimated to be around 2 years old and is now safe in our care. Starlight was found at 161st and Wekiwa Rd. in Sand Springs. She will remain on a stray hold through the end of the day on June 21.

She has a long road to recovery ahead of her and will need extensive medical care to get back to feeling like herself again.

If you are able to contribute toward Starlight’s care, every donation will make a difference. And if giving isn’t possible right now, sharing her story and sending your support means more than you know.

Thank you for helping us give Starlight the second chance she deserves.

It’s Veterinary Appreciation Day! 🩺🐾

Every day, our veterinarians care for countless animals who come through our clinic doors. From spays and neuters to wellness appointments, dentals, mass removals, and chiropractic care, they do it all with skill, compassion, and dedication.

They are commitment to our community and their belief that everyone deserves access to care.

Thank you to Dr. L, Dr. Buford, Dr. Thomas, and Dr. Sam for everything you do for our shelter animals and the Tulsa community. Your expertise, kindness, and commitment make a difference every single day.

Moms always show up when needed, now this mom needs someone to show up for her.

Toebean Dealer came to us April 27th nursing her babies. All her babies are grown up and have left the nest but she is still here.

She is one year old and ready for her forever home. Her previous foster said she is the best combination of cuddly but also playful.

Stop by our shelter tomorrow to meet her!

Let's get this girl out of here! 💕

Willow came to us on May 13 after her family moved and could no longer keep her. 😔

Her previous owners described her as sassy and always wanting to be the center of attention, and we can confirm that's 100% accurate. If you walk past her kennel without saying hello, she'll politely remind you that she deserves your attention.

💕 Age: 4 years
💕 Weight: 58 lbs
💕 Vibes: Chill

Willow is ready to trade shelter life for a comfy couch and a family to call her own. Come meet this sweet girl and see if she's the missing piece of your home.

Happy Tail Tuesday!

When Ellie (formerly Lucy) left the shelter, she found so much more than a home. She found her people.

Her adopter says bringing Ellie home has been the best journey. She's full of sass, loves soaking up all the human attention she can get, and has quickly become an irreplaceable part of the family.

"She has been beyond the best thing ever!"

Every adoption changes two lives: the pet's and the person's. ❤️
