Hello Friends,

Thank you for the ways you have supported us financially and in prayer over these last several years. You have changed the lives of these children in Haiti and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you.

As many of you know, the unrest in Haiti has increased significantly over the past several years and as a result I haven't been able to visit since 2019. I can assure you that 100% of your donations still go directly to supporting these teachers and the Chasing Eden school - HOPE Christian School. We have been able to cover the teachers salary each month and we have also completely paid off the land in order to start building the new school. Your donations have made a difference and we HAVE MADE PROGRESS!

Our school has grown! We now have 130 children and 10 teachers - which is amazing! This also means our monthly costs have increased. Here are the currently monthly expenses:
School Master: $150.00
3 Assistants: $290.00
10 Teachers: $1,000.00
Total per month: $1,440.00

We are no longer able to provide lunch for the children during school but we try to make special meals for the children and their families whenever possible. Once we get more monthly sponsorships, we will be able to provide daily lunches again. I know many of you currently sponsor each month but if you are not, we would love for you to consider sponsoring - even just $10 per month goes a long way!

Last but certainly not least, we are now partnering with Steele Creek Church in Charlotte, NC to finally build the school! The school has been operating for years in temporary spaces and now we are moving forward to put the permanent structure in place. The cost will be around $140,000 and while this is a big number, our God is BIGGER! We have prayed for a long time to be connected with a church and we are so excited to team up with Steele Creek. Meeting our monthly support and getting the feeding program up and running again is our first priority - so if you aren't already a monthly supporter, we would love to partner with you. We can take recurring payments via Zelle or PayPal.

Hope Christian School - Haiti

This year we were able to provide a beautiful Christmas celebration for the children. They each got a meal and got to sing and dance. Your generosity is bringing hope and joy to these precious children in Haiti!

We are praying for our friends at Mission in Haiti and their families. This is a devastating loss and just another reminder of the hurt and brokenness in this country. We long to see the restoration of hope in this country and in our world but until then, we grieve these losses and hold those we have close to us today.

Lord, heal this land.

Even with all of the chaos happening in Haiti, our kids are still learning and growing. The prices of supplies have gone up, making building the school more challenging but we are trusting God and moving forward! The unrest in Haiti has escalated. Missionaries are stuck, the main airport is completely shut down and taken over by gangs, and the list goes on. Our school is still in session and our contacts are safe, praise the Lord, but much of the country is in distress. Please pray for peace in Port-Au-Prince, especially, but the nation as a whole needs to be covered in prayer.
