Our hearts ache at the passing of Billy Hurt. A long time member the Tulsa Expo Raceway and American Sprint Car Series Fire/Safety Crew, Billy was more than that.

Mentor, Friend, and Hero. Over and over, we watched Billy react to protect and save the lives of drivers across the country with precision and excellence. Always, making sure those around him were taken care of. He was the definition of "one of a kind"

Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family as they work through their loss.

Everyone with the Tulsa Expo Raceway, Chili Bowl Nationals, and Tulsa Shootout continue to pray for those affected by the events in Texas on Saturday night.
