You're too old to start exercising.
We hear it all the time. And it's wrong.
Starting at 60, 70, even 80 — your body still responds. Your muscles still build. Your balance still improves. Walking still counts. A lot.
The only exercise that doesn't work is the one you never start.
LIFE's Active Senior Center has fitness classes for every level. No judgment. Just movement. Save this for someone who thinks it's too late. It's not. 💛

At Life PACE, care moves with you—literally. 💚 One of the many services included is physical therapy, helping you regain strength, improve mobility, and stay independent in the comfort of a supportive care community. Because living well means moving well, at your own pace.

Route 66 turns 100, and Tulsa sits right in the heart of the story. 🛣️✨
What started as a lifeline became a legend. Families fleeing the Dust Bowl traveled these roads in search of hope. Soldiers came home on them. Small towns grew around them. Diners, neon signs, roadside motels, and memories followed.
Route 66 was never just a highway. It was America in motion. And 100 years later? Tulsa is still one of the best places to experience its legacy.
What’s your favorite Route 66 memory, stop, or hidden gem in Tulsa? ⬇️

You Can Eat Your Way Through History Along Tulsa's Stretch of Route 66 The Mother Road's dining scene is well worth the drive.
A Tulsan named Cyrus Avery drew the route and made sure it ran through his hometown. That was 1926. Now, nearly 100 years later, Tulsa is officially the Capital of Route 66. Some of you remember driving it before anyone called it historic. Drop a comment and tell us where it took you. 🛣

1 in 3 Meals on Wheels programs has a waitlist. Seniors wait an average of four months.
MacKenzie Scott just donated $70 million to Meals on Wheels America. It's a remarkable show of support for older adults facing hunger and isolation.
But one in three local providers still has a waitlist — and the need keeps growing.
Here in Tulsa, LIFE Senior Services has been showing up for older adults since 1974. We check in. We make sure no one gets left behind.
