First Youth Tulsa

We had a wonderful Graduate Sunday yesterday celebrating all of our wonderful seniors! We are so proud of you and so proud of the people you have become, keep pursuing the Lord! Don't worry though, you guys are still invited to all of our First Youth opportunities this summer so don't leave us just yet! See you all on Wednesday night for free pizza as we continue our Evangelism series!

Looking for authentic fellowship with a focus on diving deeper into scripture? Look no further than our Sunday morning programming 👀 We are walking through 1 John over the next several weeks and what it looks like to live an authentic Christian lifestyle. Join us next week at 9:50am in the youth wing! We will have breakfast provided for you and rumor has it we will have homemade pancakes 👀🥞

GO Week was incredible! Now let’s hit the ground running and lean entirely into Evangelism. Rebekah Bled will be with us on Wednesdays in May to give our students some real life training and tips on what it looks like to share the gospel. It’s going to special and you do not want to miss it, see you all on Wednesday night!

We had a wonderful Confirmation Sunday service yesterday and what a blessing it was! We saw 10 sixth graders publicly confirm their faith in front of congregation, and watched them make their first act as members of the church as they served on our communion and prayer team. We are so excited as they take their next step into deeper discipleship and continue their journey through First Youth!

We hope to see you all on Wednesday Night from 6-8pm to welcome our new members into First Youth. We will have dinner, worship, a lesson and small group time. Order your Chick-Fil-A online and we will see you Wednesday!

Just like that, Mission Academy 2026 is a wrap! Our prayer is that this experience doesn’t end here, but rather it’s just beginning. God isn’t confined to a mission trip and he desires to continue to grow in relationship with our students.

Come see us next Wednesday night for a night of testimony and to celebrate all of the things the Lord did at Mission Academy this year!

Day 3 was unbelievable, and our students absolutely KILLED it. We saw their hard work through manual labor at YouthWorks, while seeing their tender hearts read to the children there. Then we got to see their compassion and love for others as we walked around downtown Tulsa and handed out blessing bags to people and prayed over them. Then of course we had to have a blast at Urban Air. We then wrapped up the night with a powerful night of worship as Blake reminded our students that they are not only loved by God, but they are also liked by God. That he delights in his creation and yearns to spend time with them on a regular basis. That they are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Today we finish up our trip with a dinner and worship service alongside our parents, see you parents at 5:30 for dinner!
