A recent search of ClinicalTrials.gov identified 12 interventional studies for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) conducted across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

Six of these studies were conducted in the United States.

🔬 Currently, two Phase 2 clinical trials are actively recruiting participants, with enrollment goals of approximately 40 and 90 participants.

Clinical research continues to advance our understanding of HS and may help bring new treatment options to patients in the future.
While there is currently no cure for HS, available treatment options may help reduce symptoms, prevent flare-ups, and improve quality of life. Treatment plans are individualized and may include:
Topical medications for mild HS
Oral antibiotics to help reduce inflammation and infection Hormonal therapies for appropriate patients
Biologic medications that target specific inflammatory pathways
Pain management strategies
Surgical procedures for more advanced disease

Because HS affects each person differently, it is important to work closely with a healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
