We are so excited to welcome another incredible Baritone to our chorus! She brings previous barbershop experience to the risers, and we couldn't be happier to have her. After experimenting with voice placement, swapping singers, listening, adjusting, and trying again, we finally got to hear the result.

Different voices. Different parts. Different places on the risers.
But the goal was always the same:
One unified sound.
This is Part 3 of our One Voice Experiment, and we’re getting closer.

What do you call a pair of Baritones who have sung together for years…not only in Barbershop, but also on Praise & Worship albums?
A Bari Pair? A Baritone Bundle? A Double Dose of Bari? 🤔
Whatever you call them, we’re thrilled that both of them have decided to jump back into Barbershop and join Tulsa Metro Sound!

“Flurybut and hurryso” made another appearance at rehearsal and then it was back to business.
Our new director, Greg, was on a mission: figure out how to arrange our voices on the risers so that four vocal parts could blend together and sound like one voice.
That meant moving people.
Trying it.
Listening.
Moving people again.
And trying it again.

A HUGE welcome to our fabulous visitors (tenor, baritones, and leads) who all brought barbershop experience and rang those chords with us last night! 🎶 You made TMS sound-sational!!
Now... where are all the basses? Come visit us….we need some low notes to balance out all this high energy! No barbershop experience necessary!

We are so “Bari” happy to welcome Valerie to Tulsa Metro Sound! 🎶 She’s joining our chorus as a Baritone, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her voice in our mix!
