Comparison is the thief of joy 💕

I have been creating art in the Web3 space for a little over a year and I must say that I’m amazed at the things I create just being curious about the technology and using it. Since I started, my art has been on exhibition at the United Nations, NFTNYC, AI Summit Kenya and Ibiza. I’ve participated in several incubators to perfect my craft and won several grants just to create art. Here are some of my favorite pieces.

So great seeing old frens and making new ones. So many great builders in DeFi and Blockchain and to be in the community is truly special in such exciting times.

I’m extremely bullish on finding more funnels to high risk individuals who will enjoy this space. If those people are women, I’m thrilled, if they are Black, even better. However, this week has proved to me that It’s not about going out and onboarding people, but finding the right people who will stick around and build, research, and be advocates for decentralized finance and blockchain and the problems it solves.

Trading or building with crypto isn’t for everyone, and this past week proved it.

When I got into in 2020, nothing could have prepared me for this 😎



ETH ETF APPROVAL SUMMARY (TL:DR)

- Form 19B-4 approved for 8 issuers, including BlackRock and Fidelity. S-1 missing. Could take weeks to months before ETH ETFs actually trade.

- Huge win for ETH as it means SEC deems it a commodity, which means less regulatory uncertainty for the entire Ethereum ecosystem.

- Also another sign regulatory landscape in the US is FINALLY becoming more crypto-friendly.

- We’ll probably see extra ETH demand from tradfi funds, unclear on how much. On the one hand, maybe they’ll be deterred by the fact that it’s vanilla ETH with no staking. On the other hand, they still bought GBTC, so maybe they don’t care.

- Finally, I said this about BTC ETF, I’ll say it again. Everyone’s happy bc their bags are up, but it’s still kinda lame that this is crypto conforming to tradfi rails. Would much rather see more of Wall Street using actual crypto rails.

- Now really last point, this 180 degree turn in something as massive as the SEC approving an ETH ETF in just a week is exactly why everyone in this industry is addicted to it. Never a dull moment.
